LIGHT-MATTER INTERACTION AT NANOMETER SCALE Kim's lab at SNU studies the fundamental light-molecule-metal interaction to better understand the structure-reactivity relationship of molecules on metallic surfaces at the single-molecule level. In particular, we study and use the nano-plasmonics, the resonant light-metal interaction at nanoscale, to overcome the experimental limit of molecular spectroscopy, and to discover new chemistry and physics of light-molecule-metal interaction.
